Congress is poised to reform and enhance federal policies impacting older youth in foster care through legislation and administrative policies, including through the implementation of the Fostering the Future for American Children and Families Executive Order.
In this webinar series, presenters will lead a comprehensive overview of the Chafee, ETV and extended foster care laws and policies, highlighting areas that are the focus of reform. Dedicated time is reserved for questions and discussion. The goal of the series is to equip advocates and others with policy and programmatic information to enhance reform efforts.
Each session will provide the following for each topic of focus: (1) Summary of existing law and policy, (2) Policy recommendations, (3) Updates on current federal opportunities for advocacy, and (4) Questions and discussion.
